Harp Seals DFW’s Benefit Dinner & Film Screening

Posted by on June 22, 2012

We’re having a party!

We’re happy to announce Harp Seals DFW’s very first benefit dinner and film screening, to be held on Sunday, July 22nd, at 6:00 pm at the Veggie Garden in Richardson. Veggie Garden will be offering a yummy vegan buffet, and we’ll be screening Nigel Barker’s A Sealed Fate, the famed photographer’s documentary of his trip to the ice floes of Newfoundland with the Harp Seals campaign team of the Humane Society of the United States to film the horrible massacres of tens of thousands of baby seals. Proceeds from the event will go directly to HarpSeals.org.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door, so we encourage everyone to buy their tickets early so as to reserve their slots. Your paid reservation also entitles to you one raffle ticket, and additional raffle tickets are $1/each, or $5 for 6. We’ve got some pretty cool prizes, too, including a gift certificate for a two-night stay at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. Awesomeness!

Feel free to spread the news to your friends and anyone else who you think would be interested in learning more about the Harp Seal campaign. To help you out, we’ve created a PDF of our flyer that you can download here. Or, you can click on the link below:
